Size 2 needles
I wish I could say it's a joy. But the 2nd sleeve and the bands are just staring me in the face. Taunting me. Calling me a chicken. Leaving me no recourse but to try and avoid it even more. It's a good thing there are basketball games I am held prisoner at. I figure if my butt is forced to sit on a hard wood bleacher, my hands should be in torture too.
Oh, it's not that I hate size 2 needles. And I love Dale patterns. It's just doing tiny sleeves in a magic loop method, with fingering yarn and tiny needles. And I just realized, I didn't do the last decreases on the sleeve cuff. That's 10 extra stitches. Will it matter? I am not ripping out the cuff to make the changes. I still have to sew the bind off on the cuff.
Nothing much going on here. The basketball record is 1-1, the loss was a hard fought game. Younger lost her cell phone. We have no clue where it is. iNDy's hair is growing back, just not very fast. Hubster is in and out of town again.
I need to start a Lace Fichu for my niece's wedding in May. Ordered the pattern. Now to start looking at lace. I need a barely cream color. If you have any hints, let me know. I am trying some Knitpicks Gloss Lace in Bare Natural. I need to go see her dress to get a good idea of it's color.
The pup is cozied up in his new favorite chair. It used to be my knitting chair. Now it's Hubster's leather recliner. It's the place we find him whenever we come home from being gone. It's where he is most every day at this time, his nap time. Even with his ugly hair cut he is a cutey!
