What a few days this has been

OK, so what do I want to talk about today? I was going to give a tutorial on reading charts. But that needs a few more hours than I have right now. So I am going to rant!!! I am going to throw a fit about Knitter's. Not only do they suck at producing a magazine of any note, they now suck at putting on a knitting convention. Got the download of the Stitches Midwest brochure. Boring! I have been trying to find classes I am interested in, or haven't already taken. Slim pickings for advance knitters. Not trying to be snooty here, just stating the facts. 

Then I find out a friend was not asked to come back to teach, because her advanced techniques are too advanced for the Midwest Venue. They decided advanced techniques don't fly at Midwest, more so at East. Give me a break! Where do they get the idea that the Midwest venue doesn't have advanced knitters. Of all the idiocy. And where's Melissa Leapman this year!!! I am not happy. 

But at least it's a weekend away with the knit buds, so I am all for that. Now to find a good price on a hotel. 

Tomorrow will be a clean up day around here. It's a mess. Doesn't seem to ever stay picked up around here. I guess when you have kids, it's never going to stay picked up. Maybe some knitting on Celtic Dreams will happen. I am longing for it. 

Well, I guess it's time to get ready to go get something to eat. The Hubster is playing poker tonight, kids are sleeping over, and I am taking the easy way out. Just need to get out before the crowds hit. I hope you are having the best weekend ever!
