Argh!
I just wrote a long blog and promptly hit the wrong button and lost it all! Oh well.
My rant was about the yarn I am ordering for my Bon Voyage Shopping Tote(see Soon To Come). I saw a man's sweater Sunday that used Navy, Teal and Deep Lime(not neon!) in bands of color. The Navy started at the bottom, the Lime had a thin stripe about rib height, then a band of Teal finished with the Lime. The sleeves duplicated this. So now I can't wait to get the yarn and start the project. It will be my project bag and go with me to Sock Fest in March in Bloomington, IL. Going with some knitting buddies. I am taking 2 handed fair isle and ribbing. Would love to finally "get" 2 handed tensioning. My left hand doesn't seem to work when stranding. Usually end up using both strands in my left. In the ribbing class I hope to learn when and how to use ribbings and hopefully learn some new ones. Corrugated Rib would be nice.
Well in 2 hours I will be held captive in a bowling alley! DD is going with her pre-school class for bumper bowling. Just hoping there is some corner with enough light to knit by. will be taking a Woolease 2nd sock I need to start, I would like to work on Carter's Hat but I am so close to finishing that I would have to take another project to switch to.
So now I am off to get my bag packed and get ready. Why can't life be full of endless knitting and no responsibilities? Will try to write tomorrow about my new project choices!
