My little family's Fair Experience
Overall a very positive one! Here's the scoop:
Elder's Flashlight and Photography project.
Reserve Champion on Flashlight, 1st on Photography. Way to go!!
Younger's Knitted Hat and Chocolate Chip Cookies.

I am a beaming Mom! And just glad they both ended up with the same ribbons. I didn't want to face that disappointment tonight. The opening night was good. The weather was perfect, 80's all evening. We saw the Queen Pageant and cheered on the lovely girls and their pretty dresses. The girls rode rides, not for me. Elder helped clean her friend's pig, I watched some hungry piglets trying to get a drink from Mom, when they weren't sleeping. So cute!!! Now to head back tomorrow for the pig show and the Young Miss Pageant. Younger is wanting to pick up pointers for next year, she can compete then. We'll see if she actually does!
OK, I am too tired to go into my show fare, it will have to wait until later. Suffice it to say I got more than the 3rd place ribbon shown in the other post.
