Hat for the Baby Bolero. Baby Cashmerino yarn. Sirdar 1646 pattern. Dec 2008

Hat to match the Scandinavian Sweater, sort of. I used the basic star and created a chart to use. All Cascade 220 Superwash yarns. Made to match this sweater. Dec 2008

Kitteh Hat. Made with 1 strand each of handspun from Needlefingers and Kitten Mohair. Basic 2x2 ribbing. Messed up the decrease rate and now the top poofs out. Will either redo it or ask her to keep pulling down the hat. Jan 2009.

Stripey. Made up pattern. Unknown navy yarn, hoping it's a washable one! Other yarns are Cotton Fleece. Tried to be as random as I could be with the stripes. Made for an expectant teacher at the middle school. She's ready to pop! April 3rd start and finish date.

Flower Hat from Pick Up Sticks. Cascade 220 yarns. Made for the fun of making it. I modified the crown by using a Fiber Trends pattern for the decreases. Then I made a dimensional flower and a flower center. Hope it felts out well. Made Oct 2009.

Alix is Waving. Pattern is Wavy Flower from Pick Up Sticks. Yarn is Cascade 220. Made in Oct 2009 for Kristi's niece Alix. She loves hats! Making the reverse color hat with the left over yarn for the 6th grade teacher's 3 year old.

Mrs. R's Wavy Flower Hat. This is for the 6th grade homeroom teacher's daughter. She is 3. I subbed in Nicky Epstein's i-cord flower and love it! The third tier made it a mite heavy, maybe two is enough next time. Now to sew those loops with thread to keep them a little less saggy. November 2009 finish date.

Stripie Newbie. This is a match for the Baby Surprise Jacket. Just trying to use up all those Superwash yarns. Going to a newborn coming in Dec. Finished Nov 2009.

Ribbed Stripey. Same yarn, different pattern and striping. Will likely donate to preemie unit. The ribbing makes it contract and expand. Finished Nov 2009.

Corrugated Stripe. Same Elann yarn, and one more hat to go. This is likely a 6-12 month size. It's just such a lovely yarn to knit with. Finished Nov 2009.

The last of the yarn has been used. And all I have left are scraps. This is a preemie sized, next to the newborn size. Hard to imagine any baby's head even being that small. It would fit a normal sized orange. Finished Nov 2009.

A kinda Mirelle Hat (PDF). Made in one day while on a retreat. My niece quickly claimed it. Changes made were to do the beginning in 4 rows garter, not purl rows. Then the first row of the corrugated ribbing was done in all knit sts. I hate seeing the purl bump color change when going from one color to another in ribbing. Then I made a row of fuchsia checks in the brown background before starting the ribbon color band. Mirrored the placement of the bands after the motif and did 4 rows of garter to start the crown. I did the crown solid instead of striped. Finished Nov 2009.
