But, before that, you can see some of our rooms here. The rest of the paint colors are very light shades, gold, lavender, taupe.
Now, the good stuff. Rebecca, I need your snail mail, I know I had it once, but who knows where it is now. Email me if you have my addy, but if not, message me on Ravelry. Do I dare post a photo that she can't avoid seeing? Or do I just provide a link and then let her decide whether to peak? I am horrible at keeping secrets, so I will provide a link. Details: Baby Cashmerino yarn, my baby fav! Pattern is Sirdar Bolero #1646. I went out to get the button today, was afraid I wouldn't find it. I have used that one before and thought I had leftovers. I knew it would match.
And man, were those buttons expensive. $36.00 trip! OK, so I found some pottery that just had to come home. I just knew they would go with the colors in the new house! We'll see how long before Hubster realizes they are new. I also picked up some beads to use with my new Heritage yarn. I need to drag out the yarn and match them up, but I think they will work. I need something bright to contrast. Whatever you do, avoid Joann's for your buttons. They are way over priced!
So, now I need to finish up the secretary clogs, and then what? Hmm, I should have the new laceweight tomorrow. I have the Twinings pattern. I could make the smaller size, but I would prefer the larger size. I could order another skein of the Classic Elite Silky Alpaca. Or, I could stash dive, which I already did, and use the Cashwool I have in denim. 1460 yds matches the larger stole size. But can I last through that larger size? Decisions. And what about the 3 projects that are sitting in the closet. I left them out of the storage so I would have something to work on. So why do I keep looking at the stash on Ravelry and dreaming of other knits? Of which I doubt I could find the patterns since they are packed away. Who knows which box they are in!
I guess I should just stick with the ones I have going and try to abstain from the startitis virus.
Thought for the day: I am so blessed to have some of the best knitting buds. There's more than one, so I can usually find a group to knit with most anyday. Ain't life grand!
